“THE SECRET OF GETTING AHEAD IS GETTING STARTED”
Jennifer Dobies, M.ED., M.A,
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in providing counseling services in a supportive, safe, and non-judgmental environment. I believe that everyone can learn and grow in any situation they find themselves in throughout the journey of life. Over the last 25 years, I am fortunate to have had experience in major league baseball, teaching and school counseling, and the therapeutic environment. These career opportunities have helped foster great training and experiences that I bring into my practice.
I believe that there is no “one model fits all” when working with clients and that I will tailor my approach to each client’s needs. I take a Solution-focused and Acceptance and Commitment approach to therapy. I also specialize in ERP for OCD and anxiety treatment. I am certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which is a beneficial tool to help process anxiety and trauma. My goal is to create a therapeutic experience that works best for you. I want you to empower yourself and build the most fulfilling life.
My office is easily accessible from any part of the Tampa Bay area. I have created a warm and welcoming space for us to work together. You have already taken the first step on your new journey in mental wellness.
